Problem Domain

Problem domain is a somewhat technical term essentially meaning a designated area of concern, a problem of interest. It is often used to specify the purpose of a particular application. The term is important insofar as it reflects the need to isolate specific areas on which to focus, whether to assure the functionality of elements within a program or the smooth linking of HTML pages.
